Bakrie Tower is a Grade A office building located in the Central Business District of Jakarta, specifically on Jl. H.R. Rasuna Said. Standing 214 meters tall, this tower began operations in 2010 and was developed by PT Bakrieland Development, the property arm of the Bakrie Group. The construction was carried out by the contractor Hutama Karya. The building's design was crafted by the architectural firm Hellmuth Obata and Kassabaum, with Urbane Indonesia handling the architectural work and Wiratman & Associates overseeing the structural aspects.
Bakrie Tower's exterior is notable for its unique design, featuring eight thousand glass panels, each cut differently for every floor, giving the building a distinctive appearance. The tower is one of the tallest in Indonesia, ranking as the 17th tallest, and has gained attention as a landmark, famously climbed by French urban climber Alain Robert. The building consists of 47 floors, with a total building area of 59,904 square meters, and an average floor size of 1,236.91 square meters, making it a prominent and spacious option for businesses in Jakarta's bustling business district.
